The department of Public Administration was established with establishment of this College on July 1993. This department is the integral part of Shivaji Mahavidyalaya, Renapur, Dist Latur. In this rural college, there are many students who have been learning Public Administration as their optional subject. The department has Two faculty-members Dr. Shinde Prakash R. , (Head), and Prof. Dr. Shaikh Mohmmad Hanif. Public Administration acquired importance in the present century of Globalization, Privatization & Liberalization. It plays role of administration to develop the Person, Society, State, Industry & Technology. It enables to develop undeveloped countries. It plays the role in Administration of Law, Ecology, Trade and Commerce and International relations.
Now a day Public Administration is a subject at High School level as a “Civil Science” it is also called as a “Universal Social Science”, it reveals its Universal importance.
